A dear friend of mine lost someone close today.
Lot of people gathered, singing praise of the deceased and
about a life well led.
Forced me to turn back the clock and think about my grandmother’s
death.
She went through a horrible time during her last few days,
her children fighting with each other about who should be taking care of her.
No one wanted the responsibility.
After she died – everyone was talking about how great a
person she was, and how blessed they were to have someone like her in their
lives.
Raises one question: if they felt that way, why did they
treat her like some filth few days before she died?
