Eliminating, or trying to eliminate, all the possibilities of error is one way on ensuring success.
Or so we think.
But what if I told you that going with your gut and failing is more productive?
I have been the cautious type, trying not to screw things up most of the time.
Even in the most mundane of conversations, I tend to add disclaimers.
And that has upset others, and subsequently me, almost every time.
Every time that has happened, I had thought of something else but didn't go ahead with it because it was 'too risky'.
It so turns out that the 'risky' options were the best I could have done in those situations.
And where has ignoring my instincts and going with the 'safe' route left me?
